Cloud Computing is well established within IT and businesses departments of companies in any size. Together with further topics, also resulting from the ongoing megatrend of Consumerization like Big Data and Bring Your Own Device, decision makers are confronted with cloud computing more than ever.
Basic discussions about buzzwords like IaaS, PaaS and SaaS as well as the very german discussion around privacy concerns are almost over. There is a broad consent that most companies and institutions will sooner or later use and profit from Cloud Computing in various forms. And, yes it is – even in Germany – possible to implement it in a secure and compliant way.
The CloudOps Summit will bring the discussions a further step ahead and will focus on three topics:
- Transition to the Cloud
How can we migrate existing applications to the Cloud?
Which experience exist regarding privacy and compliance?
Which systems/platforms have special benefits from migrating to the cloud? - Build/Run the cloud
How can we create and run secure cloud architectures?
What consequences will Cloud Computing have for existing planning and operational processes?
How can we deal with growing complexity of cloudbased architecturs? - Cloud Skills
Which roles and tasks will tomorrow’s Cloud Operations required?
How will the challenges change within each role?
Will Cloud Computing enable new, disruptive services?
If you have something to say regarding these topic or you could present a good and interesting solution or project, then you should attend the CloudOps Summit. Please fill in our Call-for-Papers form. We are looking for keynote speakers, as well as Lightning Talks and Workshops. Please go to http://www.www.cloudops.de/cfp/ and make your proposal. Then you have to be prepared for your presentation as well as possibly one or two blog posts around your topic.
We are looking forward to your input.
